Thorsten Wien (CEO) After becoming a trained actor and several years on stage Thorsten Wien decided, mid 90ies, to concentrate on film and has been working in front as well as behind the camera ever since. He completed his studies at the London Filmschool and in 2007 founded Hansafilm SA in Cape Town which so far has produced among others two by international festivals recognized films. Hansafilm SA, in collaboration with another South African production company, is currently in development for a feature film to be shot in 2011. For the past five years Thorsten has also been working as a coach. After heading the life performance department at the Academy awarded filmschool AFDA he decided to move back to his hometown Hamburg where he founded Hansafilm Germany and the affiliated Academy. |
