Sandra, Thomas and Thore meet in Hamburg.
They want to take the ferry to England. Thomas came by train from Erfurt, Sandra lives in a small town close to Mannheim and Thore arrived from Oslo.
They are rollercoaster fans, or better "rollercoaster freaks" and are on their way to make a dream come true: Travel around the world to ride all historical and in their eyes important rollercoasters, in the search for the ultimate ride of their lifes. They only know each other through the internet.
There have been a lot of documentaries on rollercoasters. "G-Moves" is looking for a new approach and focuses strongly on the audio-visual experience of the rider while at the same time creates a more subjective approach to the topic by incorporating the filmmaker into the story.
